Lachin Top Handle Bag Regions of Karabakh Collection Designed and made by Sacria Atelier The design of the "Lachin" bag is based on the patterns of the "Gasimushagi" Lachin carpet. This is a tribe of the same name, which historically lived in the mountainous part of Karabakh. The prototypes of the main motive of the "Gasimushagi" carpet were already present in the carpets of the Karabakh school. They were originally used for embroidery, but later (late 17th century) were transferred to carpets. They are also called "Tikmə Xalça" (Embroidery Carpet). The print of the bag echoes the same recognizable pattern that embodies the symbol of the region it was inspired by.
